About
Turret Notes started as a shared spreadsheet between three friends who kept arguing about which tower placement was best. At some point the notes got too long for a chat, so we built a small site instead. Everything you read here comes from someone who finished the levels, not from a press kit.
We focus on strategy and tower defence on phones, but we don't ignore neighbours: a good RPG or a clever racer often teaches something about pacing and reward loops. When a game shows up in our catalogue, it means at least one of us put real hours into it.
How we pick games is simple. We watch what people talk about, we install it ourselves, and we give it a fair week before writing anything. If a game bores us or feels unfair, we say so plainly. Nobody pays us to be nice.
The site is small on purpose. We'd rather publish six careful reviews than sixty rushed ones. If you disagree with a rating, write to us — we read every message and sometimes we change our mind.
Marek Dvořák — Marek has been building tower defence mazes since flash games ruled the browser. He handles most of the strategy write-ups and refuses to use auto-play.
